Grades 1 & 2 (Ages 6-7)
Beginner campers will work in groups and individually, use basic tools like scissors, and focus on fun maker projects.
Get ready to make music out of…junk! At Junkyard Orchestra Camp, campers dive into the science of sound and the engineering behind musical instruments. Activities include crafting zithers and shoebox guitars and investigating how materials like wood and string affect sound production. Explore acoustics and discover how our ears interpret different sounds. By the end of the week, campers will showcase their creations in a final concert for family and friends.

Grades 3 & 4 (Ages 8-9)
Intermediate campers will engage our content more individually, use more advanced tools like hot glue guns, and explore larger concepts through their own interest and research.

Advanced campers will have much more autonomy to explore advanced topics, use power tools, tablets, and laptops, and have longer stretches of individual creative time.
