*ScienceWorks is proud to participate in the Museums For All program, offering $3 admission per person to increase access for our community. Families receiving food assistance benefits (SNAP) may receive $3 admission for up to four individuals per EBT/Oregon Trail or WIC card presented at check-in, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) may receive $3 admission with valid employer-issued ID.

Special Admission
ScienceWorks offers a variety of special admission prices for the community.
First Sunday
The first Sunday of every month is a special day at ScienceWorks! Enjoy special programming and a reduced admission price of $5 for ages 3 & up.
Museums For All
Show your SNAP/Oregon Trail card at the Front Desk for a reduced admission price of $3 each for up to 4 individuals per card. This program is grant- and donation-funded.

Group Visits
Groups of 8 or more people are eligible for a reduced admission price of $9 per person. Please call at least 24 hours ahead of your visit if your group is larger than 15 people. We ask that you have one adult for every five children under 13.
ASTC Passport Program
ScienceWorks is a participating member of the ASTC Passport Program. If you are a member at another participating institution, we will admit 2 adults and multiple children for free.

Hands-on Happenings — Every Weekend
Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM, Kranzler Hall comes alive with rotating facilitated activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Drop in for favorites like the painting pendulum, the exploration station, and our ever-inventive tinkering studio — all free with membership or admission.
This March, the tinkering studio features a variety of activities on rotation such as Coral Reef, Basketball Launcher, Solar Circuits, Cardboard Forest, and Green Machine.
Come play, explore, and stay curious.
Sensory-Friendly Resources
At ScienceWorks, we want everyone to enjoy hands-on learning at their own pace. We offer noise-canceling headphones for visitors who are sensitive to loud sounds, and our staff are happy to help plan your visit. Call ahead to discuss any sensory needs — we can suggest quieter times, less busy areas, or ways to make your visit more comfortable. Our theatre is dimly lit and plays nature films with gentle music when not in use for programs, serving as a calm, soothing space for anyone who needs a break.

With a conference room, a theater, three classrooms, and an entire exhibits hall of hands-on interactives and intriguing displays, ScienceWorks is a unique and exciting place to hold an event. We offer full facility rentals or rentals by room type, for both days and evenings. Holiday staff parties, donor events, anniversary celebrations, or employee workshops are all bound to be hits when held at the museum.
