Special Admission
ScienceWorks offers a variety of special admission prices for the community.
First Sunday
The first Sunday of every month is a special day at ScienceWorks! Enjoy special programming and a reduced admission price of $5 for ages 3 & up.
Museums For All
Show your SNAP/Oregon Trail card at the Front Desk for a reduced admission price of $3 each for up to 4 individuals per card. This program is grant- and donation-funded.

Group Visits
Groups of 8 or more people are eligible for a reduced admission price of $9 per person. Please call at least 24 hours ahead of your visit if your group is larger than 15 people. We ask that you have one adult for every five children under 13.
ASTC Passport Program
ScienceWorks is a participating member of the ASTC Passport Program. If you are a member at another participating institution, we will admit 2 adults and multiple children for free.

Hands-on Happenings — Every Weekend
Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 2 PM, Kranzler Hall comes alive with rotating facilitated activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Drop in for favorites like the painting pendulum, the exploration station, and our ever-inventive tinkering studio — all free with membership or admission.
This January, the tinkering studio features Cardboard Museum— a hands-on activity where you can engineer your own mini museum exhibit using cardboard.

Creative Dance for Children
Move, imagine, and play every Friday at ScienceWorks with Creative Dance for Children (CDFC). These joyful, age-appropriate dance classes invite young movers to build coordination, confidence, and creativity through music and movement in a welcoming, supportive environment. Perfect for tiny dancers through early elementary ages, CDFC classes blend structure and play to spark a lifelong love of movement.

Sensory-Friendly Resources
At ScienceWorks, we want everyone to enjoy hands-on learning at their own pace. We offer noise-canceling headphones for visitors who are sensitive to loud sounds, and our staff are happy to help plan your visit. Call ahead to discuss any sensory needs — we can suggest quieter times, less busy areas, or ways to make your visit more comfortable. Our theatre is dimly lit and plays nature films with gentle music when not in use for programs, serving as a calm, soothing space for anyone who needs a break.

We offer full facility rentals or rentals by room type, for both days and evenings.
