Summer Camp: Flying Inventions

June 23 - 27

Grades 1 & 2 (Ages 6-7)

Beginner campers will work in groups and individually, use basic tools like scissors, and focus on fun maker projects. 


Take flight at Flying Inventions Camp! In partnership with Ashland Aerial Arts, campers will experience the thrill of wall dancing on the exterior of the ScienceWorks building! Plus, they’ll engineer egg-saving vehicles in the Egg Drop Challenge and design, build, and test parachutes in a high-flying workshop.

Grades 3 & 4 (Ages 8-9)

Intermediate campers will engage our content more individually, use more advanced tools like hot glue guns, and explore larger concepts through their own interest and research.

Grades 5 & Up (Ages 10+)

Advanced campers will have much more autonomy to explore advanced topics, use power tools, tablets, and laptops, and have longer stretches of individual creative time.
