Summer Camp: Chromatic Quest

June 30 - July 3

Grades 1 & 2 (Ages 6-7)

Beginner campers will work in groups and individually, use basic tools like scissors, and focus on fun maker projects. 


Embark on a Chromatic Quest and explore the science and art of color! Campers will experiment with color mixing, create natural fabric dyes from plants, and craft prism-inspired art. They’ll also build their own spectroscopes to discover how light reveals hidden details about the world. A vibrant adventure in science and creativity!

Note:  This is a four-day camp with no camp on Friday, July 4.

Grades 3 & 4 (Ages 8-9)

Intermediate campers will engage our content more individually, use more advanced tools like hot glue guns, and explore larger concepts through their own interest and research. 


Embark on a Chromatic Quest and explore the science and art of color! Campers will experiment with color mixing, create natural fabric dyes from plants, and craft prism-inspired art. They’ll also build their own spectroscopes to discover how light reveals hidden details about the world. A vibrant adventure in science and creativity!

Grades 5 & Up (Ages 10+)

Advanced campers will have much more autonomy to explore advanced topics, use power tools, tablets, and laptops, and have longer stretches of individual creative time.

They’ll also build their own spectroscopes to discover how light reveals hidden details about the world. A vibrant adventure in science and creativity!
