Summer Camp: Awesome Oregon

June 9 - 13

Grades 1 & 2 (Ages 6-7)

Beginner campers will work in groups and individually, use basic tools like scissors, and focus on fun maker projects. 


Discover the wonders of Oregon at Awesome Oregon summer camp! Campers will create their own nature journals, exploring the history of scientific illustration while adding notes, sketches, and specimens. Hands-on activities include wildfire ecology, native tree identification, “Scat Kitchen” (yes, edible poop!), and building mini beaver dams. Science and adventure await!

Grades 3 & 4 (Ages 8-9)

Intermediate campers will engage our content more individually, use more advanced tools like hot glue guns, and explore larger concepts through their own interest and research.

Grades 5 & Up (Ages 10+)

Advanced campers will have much more autonomy to explore advanced topics, use power tools, tablets, and laptops, and have longer stretches of individual creative time.
