Diane began working at ScienceWorks in June of 2022. After a successful experience as a summer camp educator, she accepted an invitation to be available for on-call work through the education department. In February 2024 she was offered a permanent position at the museum.
Along with her enthusiasm for the field of science and her lifelong commitment to environmental activism, she also brings the unique skill set that she has acquired through the deep work she has done with children throughout her life.
After a successful career serving children in an inner-city school district, she moved to Southern Oregon where she began working in mental health, supporting children who struggle with behaviors.
About her day-to-day work experience, she has been known to say, “If they have fun I have fun!” She happily provides a high quality, super-fun product to the children who visit ScienceWorks.
