Your ScienceWorks membership is an investment in curiosity and community. It supports hands-on STEAM learning for students and lifelong learners, helps make ScienceWorks welcoming and affordable for everyone, and enriches the cultural life of Southern Oregon — inspiring exploration for locals and visitors alike.
Membership Benefits

Guest passes are included with most memberships and are valid during your membership term.

Standard Memberships
Choose the payment option that works best for you:
(Because ScienceWorks participates in the ASTC Passport Program, all memberships are structured as one-year terms, including those paid monthly.)
Monthly Payment
- Lower upfront cost with automatic monthly billing
- Membership benefits begin right away and remain active for a full year
- Monthly plans are a 12-month commitment (12 payments total)
- Designed to make membership more accessible and easier to fit into a family budget
ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum is a community-supported 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
The direct benefits conveyed by a ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum membership make funds spent buying a membership ineligible to be considered tax-deductible donations. If you would like to make a donation, please consider supporting us here. We can't do it without you!
Discount Memberships — ScienceWorks for All
We offer 50% off memberships for families participating in EBT, SNAP, WIC, or Free or Reduced Lunches programs.
- Same benefits as standard memberships
- Must be purchased in person
- We ask that you bring one piece of current documentation from any of the qualifying programs
This program helps ensure that ScienceWorks remains a place where everyone can play, learn, and belong.
Premium Memberships
For those who would like to deepen their connection and impact, Premium Memberships offer unique experiences while helping fund inclusive programs, student learning, and community outreach. These members play a key role in making ScienceWorks more accessible to all.
Explorer Circle
All the benefits of a Family Membership plus:
- Birthday party for 20
- Monster Ball tickets for 6
- One guided museum experience per year, including behind-the-scenes access
Champion Circle
All the benefits of a Family Plus Membership plus:
- Birthday party for 30
- Monster Ball tickets for 10
- A guided museum experience with the Executive Director, including behind-the-scenes access
- Naming opportunity for a beetle or roach in the Subterranean Science exhibit
Business Memberships
Designed for businesses and organizations who'd like to offer a fun, engaging benefit to employees while supporting ScienceWorks.
Business Basic
- Free admission for employees and up to 5 of their guests per visit
- Does not include standard member benefits (discounts, ASTC access, etc.)
