Join award-winning STEAM Educator Victor Villegas for a 1-on-1 workshop to learn about drones! Recommended for guests 16+ or with an accompanying adult.

Victor Villegas is the Broadband & Digital Technologies Adoption Coordinator for Oregon State University Extension. However, he is more widely known for his creative K-12 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) outreach, engagement and education. He uses the Arts to reach kids who may not naturally gravitate towards STEM subjects or interests. Villegas is fully bilingual and bicultural (Spanish/English), a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, digital media producer and a technologist. Through his unique online persona as “DroneSinger” – the “Weird Al of Drones,” he blends technology, music, puppetry and storytelling to inspire youth and get them excited about STEAM subjects and life-long learning.

Workshop will include basic drone and safety information, as well as flying time. Please report to the Front Desk upon arrival.
