Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM,*  Kranzler Hall comes alive with rotating facilitated activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Drop in for favorites like the painting pendulum, the exploration station, and our ever-inventive tinkering studio — all free with membership or admission.


This July, the tinkering studio features a cardboard city building activity.

🎪 Step right up for Cirque De ScienceWorks! Flynn Creek Circus is in town and we’re celebrating with circus-themed hands-on activities. Create your own zipline acrobat or trapeze artist in the Tinkering Studio, then explore the science behind magic and optical illusions at the Exploration Station.

Remember that feeling when the Book Fair came to town — the anticipation... the joy... the smelly erasers and bendy pencils just waiting to be purchased? This all-ages event brings the love of literacy, imagination, and nostalgia to life. Sip craft brews, browse books and comics, and relive the magic of book fairs past.


Interested in being a vendor? We're looking for booksellers, writers, and makers of brews of all kinds — beer, cider, mead, tea, coffee... you get the picture! Click here to fill out our vendor application.

ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum is a vibrant hub for curiosity, creativity, and exploration located in Southern Oregon. Designed for learners of all ages, ScienceWorks offers interactive exhibits, hands-on workshops, and engaging programs that bring the wonders of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) to life.
