Every Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 2 PM, Kranzler Hall comes alive with rotating facilitated activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Drop in for favorites like the painting pendulum, the exploration station, and our ever-inventive tinkering studio — all free with membership or admission.


This January, the tinkering studio features Museum Makers — a hands-on activity where you can engineer your own mini museum exhibit using cardboard.

Love in Bloom

Celebrate love through creativity, science, and hands-on fun at Love in Bloom at ScienceWorks. With playful activities and thoughtful connections to heart health, Love in Bloom is a joyful way to spend the day with loved ones. 💕


Themed activities include: build miniature kindness-delivery robots, craft one-of-a-kind Valentine cards using bubbles and paper, and explore how your heart works in honor of American Heart Month. Catch a free screening of Women in STEM: Picture a Scientist, and enjoy festive drinks from Vintage Vibes.
