Sesame Street and the Great Elephant Adventure

Free
Join Elmo and the Sesame Street friends on a once-in-a-lifetime African safari adventure. After adopting an orphaned elephant online, Elmo, Abby and Nina travel to a Kenyan sanctuary to meet the young elephant alongside other iconic wildlife.
This special advance screening is presented by SOPBS and hosted by ScienceWorks. The episode will be shown once in English and once in Spanish. Admission is free, but space is limited — reserve your free ticket to save your spot!

Every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM,* Kranzler Hall comes alive with rotating facilitated activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Drop in for favorites like the painting pendulum, the exploration station, and our ever-inventive tinkering studio — all free with membership or admission.
This October our rotating activities include paper marigolds through October 24, followed by a bat-themed activity in celebration of Ashland Parks and Recreation’s Bat Week.

Monster Ball

Monsters of all ages, mark your calendars! Our annual Monster Ball returns for a night of spooky science, hands-on activities, crafts, workshops, performances, a silent auction, and more. Show off your most creative costume in our costume contest, with prizes for the scariest, funniest, and cutest looks! Want to help us get spooky? We’re also collecting gently used Halloween decorations to transform the museum into a frightfully fun wonderland. More details coming soon —

CREATIVE DANCE FOR CHILDREN
Creative Dance Classes are Back — Sign Up Today!
Creative Dance for Children (CDFC) is returning to ScienceWorks this fall! Taught by Cassie Preskenis, these classes offer children a unique movement experience that embraces differences, celebrates inclusivity, and encourages social-emotional awareness through dance.
Classes will be held on Fridays from October 9 through December 18 at ScienceWorks.
Creative Dance for Children is an independent organization that holds classes at ScienceWorks and registration is required through their website.
