Charting the Course for ScienceWorks
Full STEAM Ahead!
This drawing by artist Kris Wittman illustrates the strategic journey we’ve traveled with our community this year. We interviewed dozens of community members and leaders of partner organizations, inviting them to share their thoughts and hopes for what ScienceWorks should strive toward in the coming years. We heard that you want us to be a central hub for the community, actively partnering with organizations across Southern Oregon. Your insights are shaping our strategic plan, and preparing our staff and Board to support our community in the ways most meaningful to you.

ScienceWorks provides financially accessible admissions for thousands of visitors each year through our Museums for All program. A gift of $115 can support 23 low-cost admissions for community members, and a monthly donation could support more than 276 guests annually. Help us continue reaching the growing number of people who benefit from our Museums for All program!

At ScienceWorks, we intentionally keep our pricing low to ensure our programs and exhibits remain accessible to the entire community. We offer reduced rates to those who need them most, but even our regular rates fall short of covering the actual cost of providing our programs. A gift of $1000 helps us welcome everyone while maintaining high-quality experiences for all visitors.

Each year, ScienceWorks serves more than 500 campers and their families through spring, summer, and fall camps. The number of campers applying for scholarships keeps growing, and we want to help every child who needs assistance. As a nonprofit, we can’t do it without you. A gift of $275 can fund a camper for a week; a monthly donation helps ensure every child can be curious at ScienceWorks all year long.
