Plan Your Visit
Welcome to ScienceWorks!
You will notice some changes to your experience at the museum during the pandemic. We are doing everything we can to make your visit as enjoyable and safe as possible. Some of the most noticeable changes are:
- As of March 19th face coverings are optional indoors, so long as Jackson County is in the Low to Medium risk range.
- As of March 12th face coverings are optional outdoors.
- Many exhibits will be modified to reduce touch surfaces (fewer hands-on activities) and increase physical distancing.
- Exhibits that cannot be modified for safe usage will be closed.
We understand that these changes mean ScienceWorks will be different than it was before. We are looking forward to reopening all of our exhibits as soon as possible. In the meantime, please help us keep you and your family safe by following these guidelines with us. If you are uncomfortable with our guidelines, you may want to wait and visit later in the year.
