Show Themes:
Cool Science
Our coolest show here at ScienceWorks talks about the three states of matter by using Liquid Nitrogen to change "stuff" from gases to liquids and liquids to solids. Your will learn the basics of molecular energy and find out that science can be very cool!
Zapped
This shocking demonstration explains how electricity behaves in the universe. Using a Van de Graaff Generator and a Tesla Coil you will find out about atomic structure and electrical charges and see how electricity can be a "hair raising" experience.
Combustion
The hottest show you will ever see. This demonstration illustrates the three components needed to make fire, explains the basics of a chemical reaction and communicates the importance of fire safety. The explosive finale is one you will not soon forget.
The Gravity of Gravity (check for availability)
This show uses circus arts to talk about Newton's Laws of Motion. Performer Jill Fejldheim uses stilt-walking and clowning to talk about how gravity is such a "drag".
