Patricia Aulik
Patricia teaches traditional folkloric Afro-Cuban drumming and music history regionally to students of all ages as well as original percussive arts.  She has taught for over 20 years to youth in Northern California, Southern Oregon, and Wisconsin.

Erika Bare
Erika has enjoyed exploring her world through Science her whole life, and loves sharing what she has discovered with children. She has a Master's in education from the University of Oregon, and has been following her passion for education for over ten years. Most recently Erika spent six years teaching in West Linn. Upon moving to Southern Oregon this past summer she has been home with her two young children.

Stephanie Farrell
Stephanie graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles with a degree in Biology.  She is the current Science Inquiry Outreach Coordinator with ScienceWorks and is working toward her Masters in Arts of Teaching from SOU.  Prior to joining ScienceWorks, Stephanie taught science with the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo, as well as at the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco.  When asked, she'll happily tell you she's actually a bat ray, and will tell you all about these great animals that she got to spend so much time with at the Aquarium.  Stephanie loves teaching science and can't wait to show you how much fun it is!

Teresa Francois
Teresa is an art teacher who has taught various ages and mediums in recent years.  Originally from the Midwest, she has lived throughout the country.  As an art teacher, Teresa encourages her students to be self-directed, creative, and actively engaged in their projects.

Clayton Gillette
Clayton is a native son and veteran teacher in the Rogue Valley.  Long excursions as a child taught him that science is exploring and doing fun things to learn.  He currently teaches at Griffin Creek Elementary, and has been honored as an Oregon Finalist for the PAEMST Science Award.

Chris Giorni
Chris Giorni founded Tree Frog Treks~Wild Science in 1999. He has a Master's degree in Biology and has taught science at the kindergarten through adult level.  Chris currently teaches Tree Frog Treks and classes all over the San Francisco Bay Area, in addition to leading Junior Academy classes and family natural history excursions for the California Academy of Sciences and directing Tree Frog Treks' programs offered at the Bay Area Discovery Museum.

Amy Godard
Amy loves imagination and creativity. Not only does she find exciting recycled materials to use, but she also finds innovative ways to use them. She has been working with kids and teens as both a teacher and a mentor for over 10 years. She has a degree in Art and Spanish from the University of Oregon, and has been teaching art for two years.

Joanie Keller
Joanie has been playing with the outdoors all her life, and isn't too bugged by bugs!  She has a degree in Child/Family Services, with an emphasis in early childhood education from the University of New Hampshire, and has been working and playing with children for over 20 years.  She is a preschool teacher at SOU Schneider Children's Center.

Heather Kidd
Heather holds a great love of the earth and respect for all its plants and creatures. She never feels as satisfied as when she is working with children as a camp counselor, child care provider, or teacher.  Working with children continues to cultivate her great appreciation for the sense of wonder and imagination each child finds within every small discovery.  Her education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Waldorf Teacher Training.  Heather's new home in Williams and participation at White Oak Organic Farm and Education Center allow her to dig in the dirt and watch things grow while consciously caring for our beautiful, vast, and changing environment.

Joanna Lynden
Joanna Lynden is a licensed K-12 music educator who has taught science and outdoor eco education classes for the last several summers in Colorado.  She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, and when not bird watching, hiking, camping, or biking, she seems to be singing and dancing with children.  Joanna loves to share the wonders of Mother Nature with kids through experimental activities, nature encounters, artwork, stories, and songs.

Emily Maize
Emily is a scientist at heart and her childhood curiosity of all living things has carried through her formal education.  She has a B.S. in Zoology, and recently completed a Master of Wildlife Management in Australia.  With experience in outdoor education camps, after-school programs and community education activities, Emily delights in children's eagerness for learning and loves sharing her passion for discovery.  Her enthusiasm and energy really makes learning fun.

Amy Maukonen
Amy has a BS in Earth Science Education from Oregon State University and completed her elementary education certification from Cal. State San Marcos.  She is a mother of three and currently teaches at her son's pre-school.  Teaching, parenting and developing a passion for learning in young children is her love.

Melissa Molzahn
Melissa is the Education Specialist for Klamath Bird Observatory serving through AmeriCorps Northwest Service Academy.  She received her Bachelors degree in Plant and Soil Science from Oklahoma State University in 2007.  During the summer of 2007, she worked as a naturalist educator for Grand Teton National Park.   Through Klamath Bird Observatory she has taught classes and field lessons focused on birds, ecology, and conservation.

Alan Parowski
Alan has over 20 years experience working with kids--directing summer camps and teen programs for the YMCA, running inner city afterschool programs in San Francisco, and directing science camps with Tree Frog Treks since its inception.  You can usually pick him out from the crowd of kids at camp only because he's a lot bigger!

Rebecca Slosberg
Rebecca has enjoyed teaching science to children and adults in many settings.  She has worked as a park ranger from Alaska to Florida and has taught environmental education as well as children's life science.  She is currently getter her Master's degree in Environmental Education at SOU.
