Summer Internship at ScienceWorks2teenboysat3dimage

Want a FUN way to gain PROFESSIONAL experience?

ScienceWorks is offering summer internships for young people ages 13 and older to take place between June 16th and August 22nd. The interns will be selected through an application and interview process. Come on in and get involved, and thanks for thinking of ScienceWorks!

Details

The Internship is divided into three responsibilities.

The first part is being a Camp Assistant during one of our weeklong
summer camps, 4 hours a day for one week, Monday through Friday.

The second part consists of 16 hours as an Exhibit Interpreter, engaging the
public in fun and innovative science learning.

The third part is 4 hours of "behind the scenes" specialization, working in such
areas as office help, new project research, or exhibit repair and maintenance.

Benefits for Participants

Each participant will receive over 40 hours of experience in the fields of
science, education, public relations, general office help, and other skills.
After successful completion of the internship, each participant will receive
a letter of recommendation from ScienceWorks, and will have a new set of
professional skills that will easily transfer to almost any job in the
future. Internships also look fantastic on your resume!

To Apply

All interested applicants must complete an INTERNSHIP APPLICATION, and
either drop it off or mail it to:
