ScienceWorks is hosting it's 4th annual Mother - Daughter Science Fest!
An awesome event for girls in 4th-6th grade and their moms or mentors. Tackle two science and engineering design challenges as a team!
This year girls and their mothers or mentors will get to flex their mental muscles and build skills as they tackle two brand new science and engineering design challenges.
We will get our creativity, teamwork, and soldering skills going as teams design and build wearable wire sculptures.
Then we'll use some familiar materials in unfamiliar ways to build robotic arms and harness the power of hydraulics to make them move!
Our adventure begins promptly at 9:00am and will close at 2:00pm.
Pre-registration is required in order to participate in this excellent day of invention. Registration will close Thursday, May 9th, at noon.
Pack a lunch and enjoy a day together at ScienceWorks. Healthy snacks and water will be provided.
Cost: $20 per mother/daughter team, $5 per female sibling. Siblings must also be in 4th - 6th grade. No refunds.
