Da Vinci's Garage LogoA new space dedicated to tinkering, experimenting, and playful invention. It's a place for staff and visitors to try out new ideas, tinker with familiar materials in new ways, explore new skills, and think with our hands.  

Da Vinci's Garage is open every day with a wide variety of experiences, from needle felting to technology take-aparts, that combine a cool skill or material with your imagination. Come sit down and spend a while releasing your inner inventor!  Special staff led activities are on Saturdays from 10 am - 1 pm and Sundays from 3 - 6 pm.

July Activity

Plastic Casting: 
Use plastic wrap and packing tape to create some unusual things.
Dates: July 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th

August Activities

Cardboard Automata:
Use common household materials to make a one-of-a-kind automated show! Set aside one hour. Recommended for ages 10 and above, with adult assistance.
Dates: August 2nd, 3rd, 16th, 17th, 30th & 31st
Paper Circuits: Electrify your origami! Light up your greeting card! Bring a drawing to life! Set aside 30 minutes. Recommended for ages 8 and above, with adult assistance.
Dates: August 9th, 10th, 23rd, & 24th
